BUNGAY’S FARM
1831                      Lemuel Gulliver marries Abigail Jarvis at Fovant.
1839                      Tithe map Lot 755 John Antell
1841                       Census John Antell is farming at Bagber Farm with wife Ann (nee Parsons) and 8 children. They had                                              married in 1820 at Horsington.  On 15th August 1848 Bagber Farm is sold at auction. On 6th November                                        1848, aged 48, John is in Dorchester Gaol for one calendar month for “vagrancy leaving family                                                        chargeable” (10 children). 
1851                       Census shows him and Ann with son Robert living in Gold Street and now an agricultural labour.  When                                      he dies in 1870 his occupation is Farm Bailiff.  
1840’s                    Lemuel Gulliver is farming at Fontmell Brook, East Orchard (tithe map)
1841                      Census Lemuel Gulliver at Iwerne aged 35
                               Abigail Gulliver 35
                               James Gulliver 14
                               Lemuel Gulliver 9
                               Henny Gulliver 8
                              Thomas Gulliver 6
                              Sarah Gulliver 4
                              Abigail Gulliver 9 Months
                              James William, Lemuel (US Army Civil war)and Thomas emigrate to America.
1844                      Lemuel Gulliver signs a lease for 
1851                      Census  Samuel Gulliver (46) farmer 76acres employing 1 man and 1 boy.  Wife Abigail (48), Samuel (19),                                      Henry (18), Sarah (15), Ann (11), George (8) & Levinia J (6)
